WNC treehouse builder: Siding art to mimic bark

One way a treehouse can honor the tree its built in is to have bark! Although it’s not actual bark, the cedar shake siding on our downtown Asheville NC project has been custom-detailed as a work of art, covering the treehouse in a beautiful bark-like blanket and surprising everyone who has the opportunity to visit this tree house. That’s why its owner, Rachel, calls her tree-suspended studio and retreat “a floating work of art.”
