NC treehouse builders: Panthertown swimming hole access: Can you spot our timberframe tenons?
Can you see our bit of timber framing craftsmanship? In the center of this lush wilderness photo, you may be able to spot our posts with tenons (a “tenon” is a projecting piece of wood made for insertion into a mortise in another piece) cut to hold the mortised cross timber that will act as part of the lateral supports for the entry of the bridge. (If you want to see the handiwork up close, check out our next post.)
