Western NC treehouse builder: A house like a tree!

How much can a house be like a tree? Higher and higher you climb inside our downtown Asheville treehouse and look down over it’s loft’s tree-branch railing on details like barked corners and whimsical fairy-tale window trim. Can you spot World Treehouses’ owner, Adam Laufer, in this shot? Look close…he’s about to blend in with the tree, as well. We guess that’s what comes from spending most of his time in the branches!

  1. I’m would like to know how big would you build. I would to build 2 houses. Each at least 800 sq. ft.

    1. Hi Claudia, thank you for your interest! We have built treehouses around this size. Please use the form here – http://www.worldtreehouses.com/?p=144 – to tell us about your ideas and interests. The first step will be to have a call with our owner and lead builder, Adam Laufer, and then schedule a site visit for the team to check out your trees to see if you have some that are large and healthy enough for treehouses. We look forward to hearing from you!
